Today we pray in memory of Brendan:
God our Father,
Your power brings us to birth,
and by Your command we return to dust.
Lord, those who die still live in Your presence,
their lives change but do not end.
We pray today for Brendan and Colleen,
who died and now live in company with Christ.
May they rejoice in Your kingdom,
where all tears are wiped away.
Lord, look upon us with love as we mourn,
and unite us together again in one family,
to sing Your praise, forever and ever.
